$125 Attorney Fees Paid to Washington Prisoner in Personal Restraint Action

Lonnie L. Burton was a prisoner at Washington's Stafford Creek
Corrections Center in April 2001 when he received a disciplinary
infraction. He did not attend the hearing, which resulted in errors
occurring. After the Attorney General's office requested SCC's
Superintendent to grant Burton a rehearing, the personal restraint
petition was dismissed. Burton then moved for costs. He was granted $125
in attorney's fees under RCLJ 4.84.030. See: Personal Restraint Petition
of Lonnie L. Burton, Washington Appeals Court, Division I, Case No: 48855-
4-I.
