$1,700 Settlement in Lost Property

Washington State’s King County has paid $1,707 to settle a lost property claim filed on behalf of Tawny Rae Ann Hobbs, who was taken to the Juvenile Detention Center on July 26, 2005. When she was released on August 19, the three gold rings with diamonds that were taken from her upon arrival were missing from her property.

The claim was settled on Hobbs’s behalf by her mother, Jenny, on February 27, 2006. The documents related to this claim are available on PLN’s website. See: In re Hobbs, King County Claim No. 38092.
