  $17,500 Settlement in Age Discrimination Termination Claim
  
  
  
    Washington State’s King County has paid $17,500 to settle an age discrimination termination claim by Bethel James Beck, Jr., who was hired to work as a guard at the Department of Adult and Juvenile Detention Center on May 5, 2005. On October 22, 2005, he was “suddenly discharged.” He claimed it was age discrimination.
