$7,000 Settlement in D.C. Negligent Driver Lawsuit

The District of Columbia (D.C.) paid $7,000 to settle the lawsuit of Sharell Taylor for injuries sustained in an accident with a D.C. bus.

While driving on October 22, 1996, Taylor’s vehicle was struck by a bus operated by Marvin Gooch, Jr., an employee of the District of Columbia. Taylor sustained serious bodily injury, pain and suffering, as well as lost time and wages from her employment.

Her complaint alleged negligence of the driver as the cause of the accident.

Taylor accepted settlement on November 17, 1999. She was represented by Greenbelt MD attorney William O. Lockwood.
