California Settles Prisoner's Medical Care Denial Claim for $50,000

Relaun V. Deadmon, a California state prisoner, filed a civil rights action in federal court alleging that prison officials violated his Eighth Amendment rights by refusing to provide him with a proper diet and medical care for his chronic kidney disease.
