(AP) (ROCHESTER, Minn.)
A young deer had to be shot Sunday after it crashed through a nursing home in Rochester, authorities said.
The buck crashed through an office window at the Samaritan Bethany Nursing Home Sunday morning, then roamed
down a hallway and into several offices.
Police said the deer was cornered in an office, which caused damage to the room.
Animal control officers used a noose and taser to calm the buck, but officers said the animal was seriously injured
and had to be put down.
No residents were in danger while the deer was inside the building, authorities said.
