TASER® International, Inc. Appoints Former Intel® Engineer
Electrical Engineering Manager
SCOTTSDALE, AZ., April 8, 2002 –TASER International, Inc. (Nasdaq: TASR), a provider of advanced less-lethal
weapons for use in the law enforcement, private security and personal defense markets, announced today that Magne
“Max” Nerheim will join the company as Electrical Engineering and Research Manager effective today.
Mr. Nerheim is joining TASER International from Intel® where he, as a senior engineer, worked on next generation
PC technology. Mr. Nerheim is a world class power supply engineer, having developed power supply solutions
being used by many of the world’s leading computer Original Equipment Manufacturer’s (OEM’s), including
Hewlett Packard (HP), Mitsubishi, Hitachi, Olivetti, Port, Targus, and IBM. Mr. Nerheim designed the power
supply and microprocessor circuits of the ADVANCED TASER M26 as an independent consultant. He will now
join the company full time with responsibility for all electrical engineering projects and research.
