$124,500 Paid in WA Guard's Harassment Suit
Shelton from April 17, 1995, to June 7, 1996, when she was discharged.
Bradley, represented by Jone A. Seavecki, filed, suit in the Pierce County
Superior Court alleging she was subjected to sexual harassment in the form
of unwelcome advances an comments of a sexual nature from her co-workers.
After filing a memorandum with supervisors detaining the harassment,
Bradley fell victim to other guards failing to assist her in her duties,
often leaving her in situations that presented potential safety concerns.
On November 5, 1998, Bradley agreed to settle the suit for $75,454 in
damages and $49,046 in attorney fees and costs. See: Bradley v. State of
