$59,000 Paid in WA DOC Employee's Sexual Harassment Case

Jobina Pritchett was terminated as an employee of the Washington State
McNeil Island Corrections Center after she reported to supervisors that she
sexually harassed by fellow employees. Jobina and her husband Frank,
represented by Stephen L. Bulzoni of the Messina law firm in Tacoma, WA.,
filed a state tort action in the Pierce County Superior Court. The suit
alleged sexual harassment, illegal termination, mental and emotional
damages, and Frank's loss of services and consortium with his wife. On
March 2, 1998, They settled the suit for $59,000. See: Pritchett v. State
